FINALLY! I CAN POST PHOTOS ON BLOGGER! do you hear the angels sing? jas taught me the control-f5 method and when i tried it i was super amazed. the blogger page totally transformed! like transformer! (reminds me of a joke fai told "who's the parent of transformer?"...."transparent" -.-)


SO ANW, my first photo post after soooooo long will be OBOLO! went there with gh i think 2 sats ago? had a terrible flu so couldnt really taste the cakes. what a pity =( and they had really little choices. like 4 slices of cake left when we went there. when we were there, people were constantly streaming in and out, shows how popular obolo is around there huh?

i still love the macarons from CANELE best! obolo's macaron shell is a lill sticky for my liking. anw i went back to obolo the following sat to get some cakes for my cousin to try. this time they had more choices but still, pretty miserable. she told me the pistachio one was pretty good. bought for her the yuzu cake too, too bad they only had one piece left. i love everything yuzu! being there, i simply couldnt resist not buying something for myself. i'm food porn addict, i admit. bought a box of 8 macarons (16 bucks! !&!*^!*!*) and here's my list of favourite flavours:

alrighty, so i was bored again (surprise, surprise) and i made this list. inspiration from http://taza-and-husband.blogspot.com/search/label/here%27s%20to%20happiness one of my fav blogs =D

i cant express in words how much i love Leonid Afremov's paintings. i didnt realise how much i love it until i found myself staring at his art pieces for 2 hours! i particularly love this painting call evening dreams (too bad cant post the picture.blogger still isnt working fully well), because it channels so much vibrancy and hope through the colours! and the way the colours surround the man, it's as if they bounce off him, as though they're like sound.the most beautiful sounds.

so anw i showed my mum the online version (too poor to auction for it. extremely sadded) and she hates it because she think it looks so lonely and dark. which is the polar opposite of what i thought! lol and she told me she love art too. omg. this revealation was so unexpected. all of people, the last person i thought will appreciate art was my mum. simply because art is not practical. moreover, she was the one who always find me spending too much time on it.

well, at least now i know who i inherited my love for art from haha.

pimples are still continuing to manifest at an unspeakable speed. or mayb if i dont talk about it, they'll go away. reverse psychology yo.

so here i am eating papaya and blogging cause according to my mum, fruits help to prevent pimple. i really hate pimple. they should all perish in hell! and whenever i have them, they seem to form some weird astrological symbol by geometrically lining themselves up together grrr! so anw the first thing when i saw my mum, i was greeted by a "aiyo, so many pimples again ah?" gosh mum, thanks. it's as if i didn't notice. so here i am stuffing myself with papaya, really hoping all 4 will go away tmr. (there was only 3 in the morning!)

aside from my pimple rant, something weird happened today. i frequently experience duality in my life, as if they're some kind of signs. they're not so frequent now but i used to see same double or doubledouble numbers. today, i took the train from tampines and i saw this guy and when i came home from bugis, i saw that same guy getting off the train at tampines too. and when i took the lift to tuition, i saw this another guy and when i came out from tuition, the same guy was in the lift! apparently he noticed it too, cause he was saying to his fren "hey that's the same girl." the deja vu feeling is kinda creepy sometimes.

but the most vexing and embarrasing thing today must be what i said to cute *maybe gay* guy! arghhhh! just feel like digging a hole and vanish into it! FML.

blogger still isnt working properly! cant post videos. cant post photos. it's driving me nuts so i went to try tumblr. and then i realised that it works like twitter so i'm back to blogger.

woke up with a flu today again. 2 saturdays in a row! i was sneezing so much that peiyi looked so worried lol. and stupid nick woke me up and went to sleep himself. i DREAD no DETEST the flu bug. if u know me well enough, u'll know how much i hate flu. it's the single thing that could totally crash my whole day.

so anyway, the pretty cakes and macaroons at OBOLO totally made me day. it'll be perfect if they had more of those colourful, delish cakes and alfesco sitting. shall post the photos when blogger stops screwing up.
