i feel as though i'm the initiater amongst us two.
they say it takes two hands to clap,
but it's tiring for one hand to be the driving force,
and the other to be a complimentary existence.

it's not enough to want to know me
you have to invest time, effort and most importantly,
heart.

mind told me i could trust you,
but instinct told me to raise my caution.
i'm so glad today that i decided to follow the latter
for these are walls which cannot be shatter by a mere person.

i honestly don't know who he'll be.
but when the time comes,
i believe that i can trust him with even my life.
and if you think this is naive,
then i'm even sure that i made the right decision.

so let's carry on with this game of pretence.
you know i'm good at this game
and there's no way you'll ever win me.
